If you have anything to contribute you can contact me.
You have what Cymon’s Games needs. This site is too big a project for just one person to do in their spare time. It needs you. You can help by contributing a program, linking to Cymon’s Games, a paypal donation, or just being active on Cymon’s Games.
Contribute a program:

Have other’s ever asked to copy your homework?
Have you ever scoffed at sodoku?
Have you ever been up late trying to solve a problem?
Have you ever play a video game and wished you knew how it was done?
I love programming and want to share that love with others. If you already program chances are you’ve written a game that can be used on Cymon’s Games. Don’t worry if it’s not pretty or clever I’ll take anything. The only guidelines are:
- All programs submitted must be freely distributable.
- No required external data files that can not be typed in (like wavs, ogms, bmps, jpgs, etc). You can make these files optional in the program, but it must compile and play if they are not present.
- Programs must, to the best of your knowledge, compile and run regardless of operating systems. You are not required to test this. Platform specific libraries (like DirectX etc) are not allowed.
- Programs can be written in any language, tho C/C++ programs will have priority at the moment.
In return for your code you will have the opportunity to be a close personal friend of Joe and Cymon’s Games will reserve you a spot in the side bar where you will be able to link to whatever you feel is appropriate. When the side bar fills up your link will then be moved to a specific link page, never to be forgotten.
To contribute a program you will need to contact Joe and you will receive a reply, usually in 1 to 2 days where you can send your program to.
If you don’t program yet you are encourage to try your hand at it and share what you come up with. But until then here are a few other options for supporting Cymon’s Games
Link to Cymon’s Games
Cymon’s Games will only grow if people can find it. If you have a blog or are on message boards a direct link to http://www.cymonsgames.com will get you to the main site. Also “www.cymonsgames.com” can be used as a replacement to “cymonsgames.com” in getting you to most every page. For instance “http://www.cymonsgames.com/contribute” will link to this page.
You can also use the social networking sites under “Share and Enjoy” on each page.
If you don’t have a blog or aren’t on any message boards almost every program on the site has the address of the site in them. So simply by sharing your favorite program you can be sharing Cymon’s Games.
If you link to Cymon’s Games and contact me I will happily provide a link back to you.
Donate via Paypal
Maybe one day someone will come to me with the promise of big stacks of money to do what I love full time. But until that I can only put as much money into Cymon’s Games as I get from you. On the sidebar is button to make donating to Cymon’s Games with PayPal quick and easy.
Being Active
TV, movies, and books have trained us that entertainment is passive. The web changes that.
I don’t know how to express how thrilling it is for me when someone comments on a post or sends me an e-mail. It’s truly encouraging to know there are people out there who like what I’m doing. Even if you don’t program, don’t blog, and are as broke as I am espirit de corps is priceless.? If you see something that can be improved, if you have an idea, even if you just like the illustration for a particular program don’t remain silent. Let your voice be heard. It’s your Internet.
I’m doing my part for Cymon’s Games. Now it’s success now depends on you.
