I’ve let this site slip, and I’m sorry about that. I keep telling myself I can’t update the site until I get some school work done and I keep avoiding my school work. Go figure. Meanwhile maintaining the site has been an exercise in scraping the process meat products off regularly.
Part of what I want to do is the big “Here’s the future of Cymon’s Games” announcement, but I don’t feel like I can do it justice. I want there to be bells and whistles, jugglers, and lots of people getting excited. It’s a huge project that may take me years to accomplish, and I promise, a proper announcement is coming.
So what’s Cymon’s Games going to be in the meanwhile?
Well for the three people who still have this feed RSSed there are still cool developers out there doing cool things that I can bring your attention to. Things like Nathan McCoy’s game a week project! I’ve spent way more time than I care to admit on the Boss Rush option of Game 2 – Star Grazing. I’d love to see that feature fleshed out to a game akin rRootage.
If I had more time I’d make a weekly featured called “Not ready for prime time” where I’d feature a game that’s fling just under the radar of “indie” but that I think has potential.
Also I’m still accepting c/c++ code submissions. From now on they’re going to be updated as I receive them.
Alright, big announcement coming just as soon as I can hire the clowns.

I don’t generally subscribe to RSS feeds. I just check the website about 10 or 15 times a day. It only takes a minute, don’t give me that weird look! Okay, fine, maybe I do deserve it a little.
