Rover Wars, there can be only one. With each opponent you absorb you add to your total mass. However you can just as easily be absorbed by someone larger. The last blob left is the winner.
Rover Warsis a competitive game for 3 players. At the main menu you can choose to let the computer control any of the opponents. Then just into the game. Absorb blobs smaller than you, avoid balls larger than you. The last of the 3 player blobs left is the winner. Rounds tend to be short, not lasting more than a minute. A good enhancement would be some sort of score table between games to keep track of who’s won more games and declare a winner after a number of wins.

Very fun game! I like it when it’s only me and a computer player at the end, and a couple mindless ones. If the computer is smaller than I am, I can lure him out of the corner. >:-)

I intended the game to be a multiplayer thing, and played that way it’s a bit like Bomber man, short rounds that end with one super over-powered. This have hadn’t been super well recieved yet. If it gets better reception I might try developing it up. But for now it decent as is.

Which you’d know WoM if you had tried compiling it. The code i posted has a bad timing rate on it. Need to fix that.
Oh, but you didn’t try compiling it, did you? You just ran the binary. Shame on you. But fear not, you can still regain your lost cred. Load a compiler and get started.

Nice game! I’m impressed.
Maybe if I get good enough at C or C++ I should learn Allegro instead of SDL.
