Twitter, the forums, Youtube, I do a pretty good job of updating all those. This is the one that I keep forgetting. Especially since I queued all the remaining programs. 6 weeks, that’s all the new updates I have left. Still deciding what’s next and still deciding what I can do by way of big send off. The weekly updates will still continue after that and I’ll throw in any new programs I get, but some of them, many of them, are going to be recycling old ones.
I’m working (slowly) on my next video for LockerGnome and I need some music for the opening. You can see the first draft without sound here. This is the first opening I’ve done but I like it and I want to get it right. The first video was fairly well received so I want to do more. It’s a good outlet for my less Cymony ranting and brings some good attention to the site.
Also, what’s up with the forums? Why so dead? I need to make a contest. Whoever starts a thread that gets the most comments by the end of the month or something gets… I don’t know, a tee-shirt? I’ll have to work on some new designs.

What program are you using for the sketching and screen capture? Any paint program would work for the handwritten text, but you had some non-sketch additions like the flipbook photo animation of your hands golf-gripping the Wii controller. Are you playing the audio at half speed when sketching to get that high speed effect?

I’m doing the sketching in Adobe Photoshop 7, so the flipbook thing was done cleverly with imported pictures on layers.
I use camstudio to do my screencaptures, same as I use for everything else. It’s free and 80% effective. I’m actually playing the audio at quarter speed when I’m drawing to get that high speed effect, but good eye.
