ASCIIpOrtal. The only part I didn’t do myself on the first iteration of that game was the sound effects and music. For that I owe Steve Fenton. Someone contacted me today asking about the song “Almost Invisible” from ASCIIpOrtal and I went “Huh?” To me these were just “music1″, “music2″ etc. But since it was a question about Steve’s music I looked him up and discovered two things:
- Steve is apparently married to Liza Gibbons (News)
- He may or may not work for Bank of America (linkedIn)
- He has a website that wears his ASCIIpOrtal work like a badge.
Wow, google. What would I have done without you?
And there it is on Steve’s website, under ASCIIpOrtal, the song “Almost Invisible”. It thrills me to see this for reasons I can’t quite enumerate. Go check out his site, check out his other work, and compliment him for all the ear candy on ASCIIpOrtal.

Hmm… Asciiportal is 404ing for me. Doesn’t look like a typo though. Did you accidentally delete it or something?

Oh… haha. Yeah, sorry about that. Fixed now.
I was planning on doing some things to celebrate the changes that’s happened in the code, then I set some things up, then I planed on doing some other things and forgot about what I set up and… in the end it’s a mess.
This needs some attention, no doubt about it, but until school ends I just can not do it. Anyways, back now.

Heh, thanks Joe.
A small correction, though, if I may: I am neither the 53 year old Steve who married Liza Gibbons, nor the Steve with a legal role at Bank of America. I’m sure they are wonderful people, but they are most certainly not me :]
