Many thanks to Oddbob for restoring the database, Cymon’s Games is alive again! Well, sort of. It’s convalescing. As I slowly get things back to the way they were I’m going to leave things like this, as opposed to manualling putting back and deleting the teaser page.
I had considered making the post that were queued to happen delayed, but I instead decided to let you have them all at once. So you now have the 2nd part of the ASCIIPortal saga and a new program, Get Out, to enjoy.
Funny thing is it’s been a rather eventful week for the site while it’s been down. I hope I remember to tell you about it all when I get everything working again.

Oh, brother, what a mess.
Well, the old theme is officially gone. I suppose if I bugged OddBob enough he’d be able to find the old one for me, but the truth is the site design has been nagging me lately and I really want to see it cleaned up. So I’m going to [through gritted teeth] redesign the whole site. I don’t want to, it took a long time to do the first time, but it really needs to be done and now is the time to do it.
So I’m going to cancel development on ASCIIPortal hold off on future posts for a while and until the site redesign is complete. It’s the posts thing that is really going to motivate me to get this thing done. If I miss this week because of the site redesign it will be the first week that I’ve missed and I’ll have to make it up to you.
The other thing that really bugs me is Lloyd Johnson who wrote the original Star Merchant just happens to choose now to find this site!
Until it’s up if you want to access program files just go to http://www.cymonsgames.com/pages/ to access the past (and a few future) and get at them directly.
